Customer Success Director

Reporting to Head of Customer Success Asia-Pacific, the successful candidate will represent Datalex as a market leading provider of Digital Commerce to its Customers and Partners.

Role Outline

With responsibility for both relationship and revenue, we are seeking a key account director that can build effective professional relations, represent our customer’s business priorities and liaise with all departments of Datalex to ensure optimum customer success.

This is an exciting role that offers the experience of working with global brands across multiple geographies with a high level of collaboration with all functions of a leading digital commerce organization. This role will be based in Manila.


The Role

  • Own the Business Development and Financial Performance of Multi-Million Dollar Accounts
  • Maximize lifetime value through higher product adoption with exceptional customer service and focus.
  • Drive new business growth through greater customer advocacy and reference-ability
  • Serve as a customer advocate in driving industry best practices and the evolution of the Datalex  Commerce Suite
  • Ensure effective monitoring of operations and risk
  • Be a Trusted Advisor to the Customer and contribute thought leadership and best practice.
  • Maintain senior level relationships across all functions of the business
  • Effectively articulate the customer’s current and future business priorities

Essential Experience/Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or consulting with global technology led business.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Ideally both pre- and post-sales experience
  • Strong empathy for customers AND a passion for digital commerce revenue and growth
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Project management skills - orientated, disciplined and organized
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced global environment
  • Detail oriented, able to prioritize efficiently and take initiative
  • Analytical and process-oriented mind-set
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable traveling up to 30%

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in Technology Systems for Travel Industry
